PROBLEM

Customer had been purchasing major brand Needle Roller Bearings. They needed special inner rings manufactured, which the major brands did not want to entertain. The OEM would discard the inner ring and had a local machine shop produce inferior inner races. After the inner races were produced, the customer would have clearance issues with the roller cages and race.

SOLUTION

Offer the customer an alternative brand that was willing to entertain the smaller manufacturing run with the correct dimensions and clearances required for the application. The inner ring material was also offered as 52100 bearing steel with the proper hardness levels.

Ritbearing can provide samples for approval prior to order placement depending upon the size of the job. Once approved, a blanket order can be placed and inventory can be held for just in time delivery.
