JNS Leads the Way in Needle Roller Bearing Manufacturing

Our partnership with JNS began when a Maryland steel mill approached Ritbearing, searching for a custom bearing. The mill’s continuous caster machine required specialized needle roller bearings with specialized bearing clearances and heat-treatment to withstand high temperatures. These bearings were needed at three different points in the manufacturing process: the foot roll assemblies of the mold section, the bender idler roller assemblies, and the idler roller assemblies of the bow segment, creating additional challenges.

Our team at Ritbearing knew that JNS was one of the world’s leading needle roller bearing manufacturers. Their expert engineering team and top-notch manufacturing facilities were able to produce specialized bearings for our steel mill client’s unique needs. Our team was so impressed by their quality and rigor that we’ve been relying on them ever since to provide high-precision, durable needle roller bearings for our customers across a wide range of industries.

Today, JNS operates out of three manufacturing plants in Japan, all outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and intelligent manufacturing processes. These “smart factories” are moving towards unmanned automation, which can run bearing production on multiple shifts, increasing their overall productivity and reducing downtime.
