When one of our business partners came to us with the idea of writing a blog, here’s a small (family-friendly) sample of what initially went through my head:
Wait a minute. A blog? About bearings? Wow. That’ll be interesting.
Admittedly, bearings are not the sexiest things to talk about. But the more we thought about starting a blog, the more we liked the idea.
Here’s why:
First off, it lets us be selfish. What better way to explain to product, maintenance, and design engineers how we can help them and their companies find solutions to their bearing needs?
Secondly, there really is a lot to talk about in the bearing world. Not sure which type of material is best suited for a particular application? Are you aware of the most common causes of bearing failure? How big is the bearing industry and where is it going? We know the answers, and the blog is a great way to share our expertise.
Third, all of this information is going to be extremely useful for you – our current and prospective customer. Whether it is helpful tips, upcoming events, major industry news, success stories, lessons we’ve learned, or Ritbearing updates, you now have at your disposal a resource that will help you solve your company’s critical bearing needs.
